There are no small parts in the soaps, everything is made out of soap, we use a glycerin base soap for the small figures.

The spongy part is whipped soap, we add additional glycerin to the soap base and whip it until fluffy, it has a very similar texture to marshmallow creme until it sets.

Yes! We get this question a lot about our Sweet Treats collection, the soaps are made out of a glycerin soap base and will lather like normal. The whipped soap portion is made with additional soap base and a foaming bath base.

The foaming bath base is a product that mimics the way soap works but it is technically not soap. You can think of it like whipped soap, it has the texture of whipped cream and it will still wash and cleanse hands.

Our foaming bath base is made with Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Distilled Water, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Jojoba Oil, Stearic Acid and a preservative. On our ingredients label you will see 2-Phenoxyethanol, 1,2-Octanediol, Sorbic Acid, that is the preservative we use. Cocamidopropyl Betaine and Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate both add the sudsiness and cleansing ability to the base; both are derived from coconuts. Lastly the glycerin and jojoba oil are added to help leave the skin feeling soft and nourished.

Depending on the product, a preservative is not needed. Products containing water or that may get water in them require a preservative to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. Soaps do not need a preservative even though water is used in soapmaking because the water evaporates during the soapmaking process and the pH level of soap doesn't allow mold or bacteria growth.
